Information about the use of cookies on the SST Express website
1What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves to your computer or mobile device when you visit that site. Cookies are widely used to make websites work or work more efficiently, and to provide information to website owners.
2How do we use cookies?
The nege.lt website uses Google Analytics – a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (hereinafter – Google) that helps analyse how the website is used. For this purpose, Google Analytics uses cookies – text files that are stored on your computer.
Google uses cookies in various ways. For example, in remarketing and Google Analytics, cookies are used to show advertisements or track your preferences.
Information about website usage obtained through cookies – standard internet log information (including your IP address) and anonymous information about visitor behaviour – is transmitted to Google, which stores it, including on servers in the United States. Before sending your IP address to Google, we anonymise it.
Under Google's Privacy Shield certification, Google declares that it complies with the requirements of the EU-US Privacy Shield framework. Google may share information collected by Google Analytics with third parties when required by law or when those third parties process information on Google's behalf.
Under the Google Analytics terms of service, Google will not associate the data subject's IP address with any other data held by Google.
If you wish to opt out of Google Analytics cookies, download and install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Cookies are also used to record whether the data subject consents (or does not consent) to the use of cookies on the nege.lt website, so that this question does not need to be asked every time the site is visited.
