The opportunity to receive funding through the joint project "Installation of private electric vehicle charging points"—by submitting an application to the Lithuanian Energy Agency under the call "Installation of private electric vehicle charging points for legal entities at workplaces"—prompted UAB Nėgė to plan the installation of EV charging stations.

This joint project is implemented under the "Next Generation Lithuania" Economic Recovery and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union’s NextGenerationEU Recovery and Resilience Facility.

In order to achieve energy independence and cost savings, UAB "Nėgė" submitted an application and received funding for the joint project No. 03-005-J-0001-J06 "Investment support for onshore solar power plants".

This project will also help the company achieve sustainable and efficient business development and contribute to reducing carbon dioxide emissions.

The project is implemented under the Economic Recovery and Resilience Plan "New Generation Lithuania", financed by the European Union's Economic Recovery and Resilience Instrument "NextGenerationEU".

The opportunity to receive EUR 37,532.13 in support from the joint project "Investment Support for Onshore Solar Power Plants" by submitting an application to the Lithuanian Energy Agency encouraged UAB Nėgė to install a 99.9 kW onshore solar power plant.

The Joint Project is being implemented under the Economic Recovery and Resilience Plan "Next Generation Lithuania", financed by the European Union's Economic Recovery and Resilience Instrument "NextGenerationEU".

This project is designed to promote the use of renewable energy and achieve a more sustainable environment. By participating in this project, we aim to contribute to environmental protection and the promotion of more sustainable energy use.

The goal of the project is to replace existing polluting heavy-duty vehicles with biogas-powered ones, thus contributing to the reduction of GHG emissions in Lithuania.

The transport sector generates one of the largest shares of greenhouse gases (GHG) and transport-specific air pollutants in Lithuania. Considering that the vast majority of vehicles operated by UAB "Nėgė" are polluting, and in order to reduce GHG emissions into the atmosphere and switch to the use of clean fuel in the company's activities, two new biogas-powered vehicles will be purchased to replace two existing diesel vehicles that are older than 10 years.

The operation of existing old, polluting vehicles costs from 10 to 20 thousand euros annually. By purchasing new, biogas-powered vehicles, it is planned to solve the problem related to the high operating costs of existing vehicles and directly contribute to eliminating the cause of the problem identified in the Transport Development Program.

The project is implemented under the sub-activity “Promotion of the conversion of polluting heavy vehicles (N2, N3, M2 and M3 classes) into non-polluting or completely non-polluting” of the Transport Development Programme of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Lithuania, Progress Measure No. 10-001-06-01-01 “Promote the use of alternative fuels in the transport sector”.

The project activities are aimed at promoting the export of the company's products, searching for new export markets and developing existing markets, and increasing the company's competitiveness. During the implementation of the project, the company will participate in international exhibitions abroad and present its products. The project will also create conditions for strengthening the company's international parcel delivery services, when the company's clients need to send a parcel to international partners quickly and reliably.

The implementation of the project will contribute to the increase in exports and total turnover, the growth of the company's competitiveness and further business development. During the project, the company will strengthen international relations and expand cooperation opportunities, which are important for our clients when planning to send a shipment or deliver cargo to business partners in foreign countries. Practical opportunities to more effectively organize the delivery of a shipment abroad and transport logistics processes will also be assessed. The company will strive to ensure smooth process management when customers are interested in shipments abroad or international cargo transportation. If necessary, the company will strive to ensure prompt delivery also when the client needs the reverse service - a shipment from abroad. The project will contribute to the efficiency of the company's activities, regardless of whether customers need a shipment from abroad or a shipment abroad.

The project is implemented under the Economic Transformation and Competitiveness Development Programme Progress Measure No. 05-001-01-11-04 “Implement measures to promote the growth of export competitiveness” activity “Promoting the internationalization of SME activities and activities to identify new export markets (Central and Western Lithuania region)”.

UAB "Nėgė" was founded in 1995 and has been in existence for 27 years, constantly growing and expanding. From 1995 to the present day, the main activity of the company has been cargo transportation on international routes. In 2004, we started a new activity - transportation of small cargo in Lithuania, Poland and Latvia. Our goal is to offer the widest possible range of fast and high-quality services, quick solutions that would ensure the success of our clients' businesses.

Faced with the global COVID-19 pandemic, like many companies, UAB "Nėgė" had to evaluate new sales opportunities in order to safely sell the company's services. During the implementation of this project, the company plans to implement e-commerce model solutions in its activities, which would allow for increasing operational efficiency and sales revenue, and successfully overcome the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

After assessing the benefits of the project, funding was provided from the European Regional Development Fund under the call for proposals No. 13.1.1-LVPA-K-860 "E-commerce model COVID-19" of the 2014-2020 European Union Funds Investment Actions Priority 13 "Promoting actions to overcome the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and preparing for an environmentally friendly, digital and sustainable economic recovery" measure.

The goals of the project are to maintain existing positions in foreign markets, expand the markets of neighboring countries, and enter new markets. To this end, the company plans to participate in international exhibitions in order to present the services provided in a high quality manner.

By taking advantage of this project, we would ensure the company's internationalization and competitiveness abroad. This would provide excellent opportunities to increase the company's productivity, hire additional new employees, and raise the economic level of the company and the country.

During the project, we plan to participate in 7 exhibitions, where we will strengthen the company's image at the international level.

From the very first days, the main activity of the company has been cargo transportation on international routes. In 2004, we started a new activity – transportation of small cargo in Lithuania, Poland and Latvia. The company's goal is to gain and maintain the trust of its customers. We strive to achieve this by listening to the individual needs of each customer and providing the most optimal offers to meet those needs.

The company's employees improve their skills in various seminars and courses in order to ensure high quality of services.

In order to further increase the company's exports, we want to expand the company's services to other countries. The intended goals are to maintain existing positions in current foreign markets, expand the markets of neighboring countries, and enter new markets.

The company, using EU financial support, plans to participate in 7 exhibitions, where we will strengthen the company's image at the international level. The project would contribute to the formation of a positive image of the company and open up opportunities for the development of cooperation in foreign markets and attract investments to Lithuania.

In order to increase the company's business efficiency, we planned to implement a business management system that would cover all the company's main work processes and allow for the implementation of new working methods. Since the implementation of such a system is quite expensive, we decided to prepare an application for EU financial support.
